Very noisy whole night/every night though (from Bangla)at least in our room heading in that direction. Loud screaming birds(in cage) waking us (and many others)up every night, hotel should take them away. Nice tropical garden, but in need of freshening up. Nice pool, but poolarea a bit worn down(no pool bar). Most sunbeds not working(adjustment don t work). Restaurant & breakfast ok, price a bit high on food though. New years eve dinner way way too expensive - 5000 baht for 2 persons not incl. drinks & food not that good. Roomprice around new year (8 nights) very high - bout 4000 baht/night (incl n.y.dinner).Overall: Nice but expensive hotel in good location, but could improve in several areas. Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Great situation, nice room, cleaning every day, beach towers, everything was perfect, very value for money. Music from Bangla Road was very loud, but I just like it, if you want quiet, this is not for you. I will defenately go there again. Staff in reseption don t speak english! Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Tropica Bungalow Hotel centrally located just off busy Bangla Rd.and all the nightlife.Across the busy road from decent enough beach-BT100 a deckchair perday.Very busy location but expected when in centre of Phuket.Room too expensive at BT3000 plus.Bathroom below standard,low power from shower and room adequate.Small swimming pool in nice tropical grounds. Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Good garden with swimming pool in a very good location. You can see the sea when you have breakfast. Room is average but still give you good holiday feeling. However the rooms which are close to the road are noisy in the evening. Breakfast is lack of change. Price in high season is a little too high - 60-80 USD is more reasonable.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: On the positive side: When we were not satisifed with the 1st bugalow we were allowed to change without any problem. The rooms are somewhat old, but clean. Staff friendly. On the negative side: had a rat in our room but was killed next day... However that is what one have to expect I guess since there are a lot of vegitation around.Would not discourage anyone from booking. I believe this could happen most places.However I believe I would choose Salathai next time when I go back. All in all a more plesant experience.Perfect location. Ask for a room (2nd flor) or a bungalow near the pool. No noise!

The hotel personel was very indiferent so it felt like you were not welcome.The breakfast was adequate wich is a bit odd because the food in the restaurant was wery good.This is not a hotel for families with children because 90% of the guests were men with companie of ladies working on the street. Never mind that it was off-peak, it was still amazing!I booked from 19-23 of Aug and then extended it till the 26th of August. What I liked most was the location. It was near everything and just across Patong beach. I extended my stay not because of the service or the room, but because of the superb and convenient location. The rooms were good though, but you don t go to Phuket to stay in your room!The downside: Breakfast was the same all 7 days of my stay there! Restaurant staff never smile, they did warm up later after 5 days of seeing me! lol. Staff are not helpful at all.The nicest and friendliest people though, are outside the hotel. locals on the beach, the vendors, tuktuk drivers, bartenders, everyone. I had great fun. Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Great location right near Bangla Road and on the Beach. Staff are lovely and even left a birthday card and a basket of orchids for my husband on his birthday. Rooms large and clean. Some noise from Bangla Road at night but it did not bother us. Pool is lovely but the outdoor furniture around the pool could do with an update. Great breakfast in the restaurant. Overall, very happy with the hotel for price, overall comfort and location. Would definitely stay again.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Be ready to see the room much older and darker then it looks on the photo. This is VERY economy hotel. There are a lot of positive feedbacks and I think it ll be fair to add some negative.First of all - absence of bath. All you they have in each room – shower with very weak water pressure.Very noisy and old air-condition. It is non-ineffective and making a air inside the room very wet.The garden is perfect to look at and photo but not to live in. Because of there a lot of fallen leafs and other stuff from the trees and there a LOT of mosquitoes. You will need a bunch of repellents in the first day in other way the itch becomes your neighbor all night long ïŠ The swimming pool is full of three’s stuff also as alleys and sun loungers are too old, so, all this makes swimming into the pool very unpleasant.And of course there are a lot of noise from Bangla road, but it is needed to say, that on third day you starts not hearing this sounds. My last day was overshadowed by the reception staff asked me to pay for one lost glass 50 bahts. Not looking at that I haven’ seen one of them since 4th day of cleaning service. I spent 30 minutes at check-out to explain that I am refuse to pay this charge. Finally they agreed. But it made me very angry. There are also no iron or hairdryer at the hotel. So I had to buy ones by myself. Be informed that I present the iron at the check-out and asked staf to keep it for other guest, hope it could be useful for someone. Resuming above mentioned – if you want to get a very unpretending room near the centre of Patong for the fair price and ready to face with Spartan’s condition, sleeping good and do not scare of mosquitoes this the place for you, otherwise look for something else a little far from Bangla.P.S. Pantong beach was very unclean. A lot of littering and trash in the water, I even saw the used condom flowing in the water. Kata, Surin and Karon beach for now are more clean. Hotel is in a great location-just across the road from the beach and behind the corner from the “happening†places. Accommodations are not fancy, but clean and worth the money. The only thing I would like the hotel to reconsider is their breakfast menu, a bit of variety would definitely benefit and will be appreciated by the customers. Booked for two nights , stay for two weeks .The rooms are a bit worn and could do with a bit make over , but the the price will go up , you get what youpay for . Very nice and clean pool , relaxing and quiet area . Food and drinks available from resturant . Excellent resturant with nice prices , discount for hotel guest s . Some of the rooms can have some noise at night time from Bangla disco , get a nother room no problem . We checked a lot of hotels and this was the best for the money . Cross the road from the resort and your on Patong Beach, walk to the corner and your on Banglar Road! Friendly staff and excellent service. Ideal location for relaxing on the beach through the days, and partying through the nights!

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: this is a fantastic spot for those looking for a wild time in patong.The bungalow rooms are really nice.The location is great with the famous patong beach on your doorstep with all its fantastic restaurants and bars,if you are looking for a wild time just turn right from the hotel and hit the infamous bangla road and believe me you will have a WILD TIME.We were here for new year and and it was the perfect base for our assault on patong.the staff were really helpful and friendly as usual even the security guard ha ha. I WILL DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN
