Hur sköttes bokningen?: Easy to use. I booked the hotel from the airport lounge in Hanoi, and the hotel transfer driver was there to pick me up at the airport when I arrived in Bangkok only 2 hours later.
Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: I ll stay here everytime I have an overnight connection in Bangkok. Places like this make me wonder why anyone would pay the ridiculous prices of the Novotel at Suvarnabhumi. The pickup service was prompt and friendly, the hotel was clean and tidy. Minibar items were very reasonably priced and the fridge was cold. TV and AirCon worked great, with lots of satellite channels. They even upgraded me to the next size room for free! Return shuttle to the airport in the morning was just a prompt and friendly. I ll never pay for the Novotel again knowing I can stay in comfort and at great value at the Floral Shire.I wouldnt really recommend this hotel for holiday though. It s located on the outskirts of the city. The rooms are very well appointed, for the $25 you pay. linens were clean, bed was comfortable, furniture in great condition, etc. but its not the four seasons. I think this should be obvious, but as someone who reads online reviews a lot, I think people have unreal expectations at some of these purpose built places. Floral Shire is a great facility, with good friendly staff, and is a perfect alternative to paying the exhorbitant prices of the Novotel at Suvarnabhumi or sleeping in the terminal. A no-brainer for me in the future.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Dont be put off by the location or first impression. Service was great, rooms were very adequate for the cost and overall we were very happy. Taxi was ordered for us to return to airport as we didnt fit in their car. Breakfast was served before allotted time so great care is taken. Well worth the money. 10-15 mins from airport, only heard 3 planes.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: I spent 1 night between a late arrival and early departure to/from Bangkok airport in Floral Shire hotel. Even though I arrived very late at night & it took me ages to exit the airport (because my luggage did not arrive and I had to fill in a-lost-luggage-form) my free pickup from the hotel waited for me and welcomed me with a smile. The drive to the hotel = very quick, 5 min = max time to sleep inbetween the flights. Simple, but nice & clean room with everything you need if you have lost your luggage + free coffee and water. Nice and kind personnel.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: This is a good place if you need to stay a night before you go home.Its about 10-15min from the airport. The pickup service is great. The negative is:It s in the middle of nowhere. Airplanes leaves (feels like every 10 minutes) so the hotel gets a little (depends on how big the aircrafts are) noisy. My Suggestion is to use earplug s while sleeping. The breakfast is nothing to celebrate about, and it s the same every morning. The rooms are big and nice i think. Our air condition was very noisy. Would i stay there again? Maybe, the price was good, but not more than one night next time.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Very basic hotel, but all you need for an overnight stay before flying back home from a Thai holiday! Airport transfer very friendly and efficient, both ways. The place would be hard to find on one s own! Price unbeatable!

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Room is simple and clean. THe hotel is very close to the airport and the complmentary transfers is perfect.For long stay is not convenient and not recommended. Only for short stay is fine. The location is not good and not reach by public transport. The restuarant has very limited menu. Breakfast is not satisfied.I stayed on 21 July 2009, The hotel is under renovation therefore it s not nice environment.

Rooms clean, friendly service and breakfast was fine. Would stay again and would reccomend for a short stay.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: 10 minutes from the airport with a free roundtrip transfer and free continental breakfast, for the equivalent of USD $35.00.Being close to the airport is great, but the old adage of you get what you pay for rings loud and clear at Floral Shire.To be fair, I am disclosing my room: Daisy 4. The below complaints, and my review, is based entirely on said room. Perhaps other rooms at The Floral Shire offer more.In summary:1. I have a bathroom sink that won t drain.2. I have a sink faucet that turns. Which is shouldn t.3. I ve killed 4 mosquitos thus far. Thankfully, Thai mosquitos seem quite slow.4. They have no right to use the word resort. I do question the validity of the 3 and 4 star reviews posted previously, or perhaps where said posters usually stay when traveling. Airport hotels in general have a bad reputation; this place makes even the worst airport hotel look like a Four Seasons. I would have rather slept inside the airport, or dealt with Thai meter-taxis to get from/to BKK.In addition to the room itself, I attempted to get some fresh air and walk to the 7-Eleven that I saw on the way from the main road to the hotel. En route to the 7-Eleven, I saw 2 men urinating outdoors, and one defecating. I am not judging; after spending a week in Cambodia, I know that we take so much for granted in the West. But the experience did not improve my already bad impression of The Floral Shire.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Floral Shire was generally okay. However, I was not satisfied with its pick-up service. We had to wait for hotel vehicle longer than 25 minutes while other hotel pick-up services took only 5 or 10 min. And on our way back to airport, hotel vehicle had problem so we were late for flight check-in. I wouldn t consider to go back to floral shire.
